Role
Mara Ellison runs Insta US from the Newark yard, not from a remote brand office. She opens the Monday cut, reads the exceptions, and is the person who will tell a large buyer the week is full. The job is capacity and tone. The tone is short emails.
How they decide
She came out of regional soft-goods wholesale, which is why apparel flaps carry a size tape and why vague orders get a question back. A buyer who writes assorted tees gets a question. A buyer who writes AP-TEE-6 times twenty gets a slot.
What to send
Mara does not take complaints about a shop's retail price. The trade price is ours. The ticket on the floor is yours. She steps into a claim when the yard and Helen disagree, and she sides with the photographs.
What not to skip
Write to orders@insta.us first. A side note that skips the thread loses the ASN, and she will send you back to it. That is how a Friday floor stays attached to a Monday email.
Mara Ellison is based against the Newark rhythm. You still start at orders@insta.us so the thread keeps the ASN. Naming a person without the order history makes the Friday floor harder, not more human.
