What it is for
Receive at the door, not after the goods have toured the stockroom. Count one inner fully against the flap. If it matches, check the other flaps and spot three units. If it does not match, count a second inner before you write. A swapped band looks like a loss if you only open one box.
How it ships
Write exceptions on the paperwork and in the order thread the same day. Note the code, the master mark, and what you counted. Damaged alone is not a count. Two vases, one chipped, photo attached, is a count.
At the door
Do not unwrap a display's worth of goods to receive them. Fingerprints and missing bands become yours. The top unit can be inspected. The rest stays banded until the shelf needs it.
When it slips
Please recieve the ASN before you break the seal, even when the driver is impatient. A seal broken before you know what you expected turns a short count into a shrug. The grace period is long enough to read a page.
Print this sheet or keep it with the ASN. It is written for the person at the door, not for a slide. Questions that the sheet does not answer belong on the order thread, with the code, not in a new mailbox. orders@insta.us is the cut.

Worked use
Read receiving sheet before you write, not after the driver leaves. Put the code in the first line and the quantity in the body, in packs, unless you mean masters and say so. Ten is ten inners. That single rule sits behind more of these sheets than people expect.
Keep one thread. A second subject becomes a second pick, and then receiving sheet cannot tell which truck you meant. Forward the thread to the person at the door so they are not counting from memory. Memory signs the wrong exception.
Credits, when a sheet ends in a credit, are memos in USD against the invoice. Do not short-pay a different order and call it even. Weather and holiday clocks, when they apply, live in the confirmation and outrank a general page. If receiving sheet and the confirmation disagree, believe the confirmation and write back on that thread.
Before you send
Put Receiving sheet in the subject with the yard and the window, and put the quantity in the body as packs unless you truly mean masters. Forward that thread to the person who will meet the truck, because a receiver working from memory signs the wrong note. If this is your first order, two inners on the sample floor teach more than a pallet you cannot store. Newark and Columbus are the calm doors for a first count. Heat yards and winter yards can wait until you know the paper. A confirmation that names a different day than this page is the day to plan. Reply there, not in a new mailbox.
