Who orders it
Tracking starts when the carrier scans, not when we pick. The confirmation has the floor day and the appointment. If you need a scan on every master, say so. Some lanes only scan the handling unit.
Carton facts
A quiet scan does not mean a quiet carton. If the floor day passed and there is no scan, reply with the ASN. Often the goods left and the scan is late. Sometimes the appointment was missed and the goods are still on the shelf, which is better news than a lost truck.
The email that works
Do not start a new thread in capitals asking where the order is. The original thread has the codes. The ASN number moves the conversation. Capitals do not move a truck.
What we will not do
There is no consumer tracking page. You are the buyer. Onward tracking to your customer is your postage account. Our job ends at the door we were given.
Print this sheet or keep it with the ASN. It is written for the person at the door, not for a slide. Questions that the sheet does not answer belong on the order thread, with the code, not in a new mailbox. orders@insta.us is the cut.

Worked use
Read tracking sheet before you write, not after the driver leaves. Put the code in the first line and the quantity in the body, in packs, unless you mean masters and say so. Ten is ten inners. That single rule sits behind more of these sheets than people expect.
Keep one thread. A second subject becomes a second pick, and then tracking sheet cannot tell which truck you meant. Forward the thread to the person at the door so they are not counting from memory. Memory signs the wrong exception.
Credits, when a sheet ends in a credit, are memos in USD against the invoice. Do not short-pay a different order and call it even. Weather and holiday clocks, when they apply, live in the confirmation and outrank a general page. If tracking sheet and the confirmation disagree, believe the confirmation and write back on that thread.
Before you send
Put Tracking sheet in the subject with the yard and the window, and put the quantity in the body as packs unless you truly mean masters. Forward that thread to the person who will meet the truck, because a receiver working from memory signs the wrong note. If this is your first order, two inners on the sample floor teach more than a pallet you cannot store. Newark and Columbus are the calm doors for a first count. Heat yards and winter yards can wait until you know the paper. A confirmation that names a different day than this page is the day to plan. Reply there, not in a new mailbox.
