Wednesday 12:00 ET for a Saturday handoff at yards that work that wave.
The floor problem
Midweek rush is the catch-up window, not the default. Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, and Phoenix can often take a Wednesday noon order for a Saturday handoff. Newark usually cannot, because the port wave already owns the floor. Ask for the yard by name.
The pack
The rush costs a calmer pick. We will refuse it when the yard is full, rather than promise Saturday and deliver Monday. A no on Wednesday is more useful than a story on Saturday.
A clean receive
Use the rush for a hole in the shelf: a single code, a few masters. Do not use it to launch a private-label run. Art will not be ready, and the press is not part of this window.
Claims and timing
Saturday handoff needs a receiver. If your shop is dark on Saturday, the carton sits in a trailer or waits until Monday, and the rush bought you nothing. Say who is unlocking the door.
Use this window by name in the subject. Mixing two windows in one email makes two picks. If you are unsure which yard can honour it, look at the yard pages and at the order window sheet. The confirmation, once sent, is the clock that counts.
Keep going
Using the Midweek rush
Wednesday 12:00 ET for a Saturday handoff at yards that work that wave. Put that timing in the subject along with the yard. A second window in the same email is a second pick. Midweek rush does not blend into the word soon. If the yard you want does not run this window, the reply will name one that does, or it will say no.
Capacity is checked when the email arrives, not when the truck is at the door. Gift crates in the holiday sprint take hands that apparel used in October. Soft goods in Phoenix and Dallas still want the morning wave even if the window says Friday. The confirmation line is the one a receiver should believe if this page and the week ever disagree.
Keep the ASN, the door, and a person who will be in the building. Midweek rush fails quietly when the shop is locked. It also fails loudly when two threads exist for one order. Stay on the first thread. Change quantities there, before the pick, and say which line died.
What to put in the note
Midweek rush is a working page for a buyer who already sells on a floor. The useful note names the yard, the window, and the quantity as packs, inners, or masters, and it uses only one of those words. orders@insta.us is the mailbox. There is no cart and no login. A second thread about windows midweek rush does not move a truck that is already sequenced. If you already have an ASN, stay on that thread and put the number where a picker can see it.
The ordinary cut is 15:00 Eastern on Monday. A note about Midweek rush that lands after the cut waits for the next open window unless the confirmation says the week is a holiday sprint. When the confirmation names a different floor day, plan that day. Do not plan the day you hoped for. Newark and Columbus are the calm doors for a first count. Heat yards and winter yards can wait until you know which paper you actually sell. Forward the thread to the person who will meet the truck. A receiver working from memory signs the wrong note.
